The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is hoping to bring more animals to their forever home this holiday.
For the month of December, the shelter is honoring its “Home for the Holidays” promotion that will feature free dog and cat adoptions all month. The adoption includes free neuter or spay, vaccinations, license, heartworm, flea and other tests, along with microchips.
Normally, adoption fees are $137 for dogs and $140 for cats.
Those who are interested in adopting a dog or cat should visit the Brookhaven Animal Shelter and Adoption Center located at 300 Horseblock Road in Brookhaven; Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
