Burlington Stores announced it will open a new location in Freeport later this month.
A weekend long grand opening event kicks off Friday, April 21, at the new store, Long Island’s 11th Burlington location. Shoppers on April 21 and 22 will receive a Burlington WOW! Buck to scratch off and reveal a prize amount to be used toward their purchases.
On April 23, customers will receive a free Burlington canvas tote bag. A purchase is not necessary to receive the free gift, which the retailer said will be given out while supplies last.
“Our goal is to continue to offer communities low prices on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” said Michael O’Sullivan, CEO, Burlington Stores. “We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to be opening a new store in Freeport.”
The new store, located at 222 East Sunrise Highway, will be open every day, from 8 a.m.-11 p.m.
To celebrate the Grand Opening, Burlington said it will donate $5,000 to a nearby school through their long-standing partnership with the national non-profit organization AdoptAClassroom.org. The presentation of the donation to the local school community will take place at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 21.
Burlington is looking to hire about 65 employees to serve various roles at the new location. Interested cadcidates can visit BurlingtonStores.jobs to apply.
