Businesses can now advertise in the outfields at Patchogue Village parks

Patchogue’s Department of Parks and Recreation is giving businesses the chance to step up to the plate in an advertising initiative at Waldbauer Park’s Roberto Clemente Field, and at the Shorefront Park softball field.

Businesses have the opportunity to purchase promotional banners that will hang in the outfields at either parks.

The prices are:

  • 4′ x 20′ banner at the Shorefront Field for $1,000
  • 3′ x 20′ banner at the Roberto Clemente Field for $600.

The signs will hang from May 1 to Dec. 1 and will be manufactured by J. Signs of Patchogue.

The village’s new initiative comes a season after the makeover of Roberto Clemente Field was introduced to the public.

The upgrades at Roberto Clemente included a brand new turf infield added last summer.

Those interested in purchasing banners are encouraged to act soon, because advertiser requests will be honored on a first come, first served basis, according to the Department of Parks and Recreation.

To buy a banner, or for additional details contact the village’s Parks and Recreation office at 631-475-4302.
