Suffolk police confirmed Thursday that an afternoon multiple vehicle crash in Manorville has forced the closure of all westbound lanes of Sunrise Highway.
The wreck occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. near Wading River Road, a police department spokesperson said. There were no serious injuries, according to police.
As of 6 p.m. the lanes remained closed to traffic.
The department said it was not yet able to discuss the number of vehicles involved in the crash.
