Appropriately name Edward Prush of Centereach claimed his $1,000 A Week For Life second prize for matching the first five numbers selected in a CASH4LIFE drawing, lottery officials announced this week.
Prush’s lucky drawing happened Aug. 1. The winning numbers for that evening’s drawing were 11, 20, 36, 40, 46, with the Cash Ball 02. Prush chose to receive his winnings as a single lump sum payment of $651,000 after required withholdings.
He purchased his winning ticket at the Club House Café, located at 1937 Middle County Road in Centereach.
