Cheezly’s, a build-your-own grilled cheese (and more) concept, is opening next week in Centereach

It’s about to get real cheezy in Centereach.

The minds behind Cheezly’s, the suped-up food truck that serves mac and cheese and grilled cheeses, will be opening at the Centereach Mall next Saturday, Dec. 14.

As previously reported, owners and cheesy food creators, Cody Kilroy and James Christiano, are taking over the space that previously held Firehouse Subs.

The longtime friends, which began the company in Port Jeff Station, are launching this venture six miles away from their previous location.

“Many of our customers reached out and said they were happy we were staying in the area,” said Kilroy. “It’s been really exciting.”

At the new brick-and-mortar spot, Cheezly’s will be adding a new item to its build-your-own menu concept: Cheesy Chips.

It’s the Cheezly’s men rendition of nachos.

“They are like a mix between potato chips and french fries,” explained Christiano.

As the grand opening approaches, Kilroy and Christiano have something special in store for their supporters.

“We’re giving our first 100 customers free meals for an entire year,” they told GreaterPortJeff on Thursday.

Those customers, who purchase a meal with a drink (about $11), will get a free meal once a month for 12 months.

“They can get an extra month added if they share a picture of us on social media too,” said Kilroy.

For those who want the deal, the opening will be at 11 a.m.
