Comedian, actor Mike Birbiglia takes the stage at Staller Center April 21

Limited tickets are still available for comedian Mike Birbiglia’s one-night performance in Stony Brook, according to a Staller Center announcement.

The award-winning comedian, storyteller, actor, and writer is fresh off Broadway and headed to Staller Center for the Arts on the SUNY Stony Brook campus on April 21.

Birbiglia just finished a sold-out, 85-performance run of his new show “The Old Man and the Pool” at the Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center. He’s also performed at Carnegie Hall to the Sydney Opera House, to name a few.

Beyond the stage, Birbiglia’s film credits include A Man Called Otto with Tom Hanks, Amy Schumer’s Trainwreckand The Fault in Our Stars, along with appearances in shows like Orange is the New Black and Billions. He most recently appeared as Taylor Swift’s “nightmare” son in the music video for her hit single Anti-Hero. Read more about that in this Rolling Stone article.
