For the second time in a week, a Long Island-based business has struck it big in the New York Lottery’s CASH4LIFE game.
DIMG Consulting, Inc. in Commack claimed the $1,000 A Week For Life second prize for matching the first five numbers drawn on July 28.
The company opted for the cash value of the prize, giving it a single lump-sum payment of $651,000 after required withholdings. The winning ticket was purchased at Smokes 4 Less in upstate Newburgh.
The winning numbers for the July 28 drawing were 23, 42, 43, 49, 56, and Cash Ball 02. A second-prize win in the CASH4LIFE game guarantees a minimum payout of $1 million.
On Dec. 3, Syosset-based LBMM LLC claimed a second prize from the June 8 drawing, also opting for the $651,000 lump-sum payout.
