Manorville youngsters celebrate real-life superheroes at school

|

They’re too young to insert an IV and too little sell you an iPhone or a gallon of milk, but a group of Manorville students were just the right age on National Super Hero Day to dress up as healthcare workers and electronics and grocery store employees to honor those who continued to work on the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The cute photo above was snapped inside South Street Elementary School in Manorville this spring. Encouraged by their teachers, the kids dressed up as nurses, doctors, cops and store workers to pay tribute to the dedication and sacrifices made during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The photo was provided by the Eastport-South Manor Central School District.
