The Suffolk County DA’s office and Suffolk Police are renewing their efforts in identifying the body of the “Asian Doe” found in 2011 along with other bodies buried at Gilgo Beach.
To that end, authorities held a press conference today appealing to the public for help while releasing more information, including sketch composites of the buried victim appearing as a man and woman.
The body was that of a biological male of Asian descent who was dressed in woman’s clothing, investigators said.
The remains were found on April 14, 2011, along Ocean Parkway.
The victim was approximately 17 to 23 years old at the time of death, measuring between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-9.
Woman’s clothing recovered from the body include a Chrysantheme-brand blue ribbed short-sleeve shirt with crew neck, a Rafaella-brand shirt, Bill Blass pants and a Bill Blass bra, authorities said.

The information and sketches are being circulated in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai, and Bahasa.

A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to the identification of the victim.
