Suffolk County Police arrested three men and impounded four high-performance vehicles Sunday after a street takeover in Deer Park that drew hundreds of drivers and shut down traffic, authorities said.
Officers responded about 4:30 p.m. to the area of Long Island Avenue and Commack Road, where a 911 caller reported reckless driving and large crowds.
Members of the department’s Street Takeover Task Force arrived to find drivers performing stunts, including donuts, spinouts and burnouts, repeatedly in the roadway, police said.
Three men were arrested, issued summonses, and had their vehicles impounded:
- Dillon Dorner, 25, of Brooklyn, driving a 2015 BMW M4
- D. Anthony Harris, 21, of Laurelton, driving a 2020 BMW X3
- Adriel Charles, 21, of Wyandanch, driving a 2020 BMW 340
Four BMWs impounded

A fourth vehicle, a 2021 BMW 335 driven by Sean Heron, 26, of Astoria, was also impounded. Heron was issued tickets but not arrested.
All four are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on July 18.
