Rainy weather and long lines didn’t stop fans from missing their chance to meet New Kids on the Block‘s Donnie Wahlberg.
Last Friday, Wahlberg made a trip to his Wahlburgers location in Port Jefferson Station, which opened back in 2016.
Leading up to the visit, the burger joint held a raffle contest for an opportunity to hang out with the three Wahlberg brothers.
“Long Island is such a great place, has been so good to me, to New Kids, to my family,” Wahlberg told News 12.
Afterward, Wahlberg remained in the area as his band performed on national TV during the New Years Eve celebration in Times Square.
Wahlberg says he will be stopping by his Long Island restaurant again when New Kids perform at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum this June.
