On Sunday,  Dublin Deck will also be participating Cinco de Mayo on the River, offering unlimited water taxis rides for $10 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. The boat will travel to Harbor Crab, The Oar Steak & Seafood Grill, Dublin Deck Tiki Bar and Grill, Drift 82, and Off Key Tikki.

some history

The Deck has come a long way in its two decades on the water.

“It was as little seafood shack,” Miller previously told GreaterPatchogue. “Scottie [Campbell] and I were bartending nearby and we reached out to buy it. We always had the idea of bringing a little vacation destination, Jimmy Buffet-style, right here to the shores of Patchogue”

“After all these years, Scottie and I, once in a while we get along,” he said.

The two have since expanded into the neighboring, full-service marina, and with that, took on partners Frank Mills and Kenny Becker, who manage Dublin Deck’s 250 boat slips, GreaterPatchogue has previously reported.

In total, the complex at 325 River Avenue now stretches over seven acres on land, with another four in the water.

“We try to offer something for everyone of all ages and walks of life, from volleyball, to paddleboard rentals, to live music, or just an afternoon lunch with family and friends outside under the palm trees with the boats in the background. When you’re at Dublin Deck you feel like you’re on vacation in the islands and not in the middle of Patchogue.”
