An East Northport woman is $3 million richer this week after getting lucky with a New York Lottery scratch-off game.
Josephine Julich has claimed her winnings on the New York Lottery’s X Series 50X scratch-off game, New York Lottery officials announced this weekend.
“Winning this jackpot felt like an out of body experience,” said a beaming Julich, who received her prize as a single, lump sum totaling a little over $1.64 million after required withholdings
She purchased the winning ticket at Alina’s Hallmark store, which is located at 217 Middle Country Road in Selden.
Julich plans to divide her new riches between supplementing her retirement, spoiling her children, having a little fun and on charitable causes.
