Seven Jewish greats from the world of sports will be inducted and eight others will receive individual wards at the Jewish Sports Heritage Association Induction Ceremony on April 7, 2024, at Temple Israel, Lawrence, 140 Central Avenue, Lawrence, N.Y., at 10:30 a.m. Among the inductees: David Kufeld, Yeshiva University basketball great; Yael Averbuch, member U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team; and Ross Greenburg, former President of HBO Sports. The event is open to the public and Free of charge.
