Farmingdale’s Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day parade happens this weekend

|

Get your green on because Farmingdale is celebrating 181 days until St. Patrick’s Day.

Since actual St. Patrick’s Day festivities were canceled due to pandemic concerns, the town’s Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day parade is happening on Sunday at 3 p.m.

Participants will gather at the Northside Elementary School (north end of Main Street) at 2:30 p.m. and proceed south down Main Street to the Village Green, where people can take part in the Shamrock Photo-Op.

Attendees are encouraged to bop around the downtown restaurants and shop following the parade.

Chamber of Commerce members, village merchants, village/local residents, community organizations, and individuals are welcome to join in the parade. Just email Joe Fortuna (Joef@thenuttyirishman.com) for more details.
