Father of missing Patchogue girl says he ‘fears the worst’

|

Nearly two weeks have past since his teen daughter disappeared and Frank Gervasi says he is beginning to “fear the worst.”

While staying in touch with Suffolk Police detectives, the Patchogue dad has been leading his own search for Emmarae Gervasi, 14, who has been missing since leaving her house barefoot on a rainy Monday evening Dec. 9 to retrieve something from the family’s car parked in the driveway.

The girl had just had a pleasant phone conversation with her father, while he was driving home from work, the family has said. Residential security cameras recorded Emmarae entering a blue Honda, the family said.

“My daughter is still missing and fear the worst !!! Please reshare this asap thank u 🙏,” Frank Gervasi posted Sunday just before noon Sunday on Facebook.

Gervasi, who has offered a $15,000 reward for his daughter’s safe return home, has paused his car detailing business in order to spend his days scouring Long Island looking for his daughter. His search has included checking hotels and motels and investigating people his daughter had contact with in the past.

Emmarae Gervasi has faced behavior-related challenges in the past, including running away from a residential teen treatment center in St. Cloud, Minnesota, in May. However, her family said she had since turned a corner, established a positive routine, and was feeling upbeat and excited about the upcoming holidays.

‘Coming for u’

Earlier this week, Frank Gervasi warned anyone who may be holding his daughter that he is coming for them.

“”I promise you I will spend the rest of my life looking for you, if it’s the last thing I ever do I will find her and who ever has her that’s a promise !!! Do the right thing and let her go before it’s too late !!! We are coming for u !!, he posted on Facebook.””I promise you I will spend the rest of my life looking for you, if it’s the last thing I ever do I will find her and who ever has her that’s a promise !!! Do the right thing and let her go before it’s too late !!! We are coming for u !!,” he posted on Facebook.

Frank Gervasi said in the same post that “It’s every parents (nightmare) and my reality, missing your child is something no parent should have to go (through)!!!”

He also pleaded with his daughter.

“Please Emma if you can read this please come home no questions asked !! … Emma we love you !!” he wrote. “We are heartbroken and are praying for your return 🙏🙏🙏
