Sunday brunch at Flight in Patchogue

Patchogue’s newest restaurant Flight has just announced the launch of a Las Vegas-style Sunday brunch called “Before Four,” starting later this month.

“‘Before Four’ is all about the party scene,” reads a Flight press release. “It’s the hangover after the hangover. DJ Richie Luchese will be spinning only the hottest mixes. Expect bottle service, cocktail service, undeniable Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas, and Flight’s original sharing style dishes.”

The party starts on Feb. 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Flight, located at 38 West Main Street.

The brunches will be powered by Flight’s head chef, Jason Tepper, a Long Island native who’s served as an executive chef in Miami and Las Vegas. Tepper has also worked closely with celebrity chefs Vic “Vegas” Moea and Beni Velazquez.

He returned to Long Island last year when he met up with Flight partner James Bonanno.

“Jason Tepper is back in Patchogue and ready to showcase what he has learned throughout his tenure in Las Vegas with the infamous Las Vegas style brunch,” according to Flight.

With a focus in shared plates, Flight opened to much fanfare during the Christmas break in December.

“We just wanted to bring a different experience to Main Street,” Bonnano had said. “The name Flight originated from that small plate concept of sharing and indulging in different flavors. And then we wanted to extend the idea of the flight beyond wine and beer, to spirits and cocktails.”
