Free drive-in movie nights set for Smith Point County Park

Suffolk County is getting set to launch free drive-in movie nights at Smith Point County Park on special nights in June

The dates are:

• 6/20 Smith Point – Jaws (sold out)
• 6/24 Smith Point – The Goonies
• 6/25 Smith Point – Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
• 6/26 Smith Point – Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
• 6/27 Smith Point – Elf

Tickets are complimentary but must be reserved in advance, click here to book a spot.

The parking lot opens at 7 p.m. The lot closes promptly at 8:10 p.m. for the show.

When parked, moviegoers can tune into 87.9 FM for the flick’s audio.

Food and beverages will be available to purchase from Smith Point’s Tiki Joe’s concessions.

Bathrooms will be available at the park’s main pavilion.

For safety protocols, guests are required to wear face coverings when they are away from their vehicles.

Due to rainy forecasts, event organizers say a cancellation determination for each screening will be made by 1 p.m. on the day of the show.
