That’s the deal tonight, May 21, at Tiki Joe’s Smith Point. The Shirley oceanfront summer hot spot kicks off the season with a Pop-up Vaccine Pod event by the beach.
From 5-8 p.m., each customer who gets a COVID-19 vaccination shot can then go belly up to the bar and enjoy a free drink. You just need to be breathing, conscious and over 21 — no appointment is necessary.
Tiki Joe’s opening night will also feature live music and entertainment, with the party rolling on through the course of the weekend.
Tonight’s vaccine event is being coordinated by Suffolk County, in coordination with Tiki Joe’s and Northwell Health.
