Frontier Airlines is ditching its pesky fees — at least for the next few months.
The budget carrier has launched a new promotion offering customers a free upgrade to its Economy Bundle for any non-stop flights booked for now through Aug.18. This upgrade includes a free carry-on bag, free seat selection, and free flight changes —services that usually come with additional fees.
Additionally, if you’re flying between May 28 and Aug. 18, Frontier will offer a free checked bag with the promo code: FREEBAG.
What’s the catch? You must book by March 24.
And if this promotion goes well, this could be a deal that is here to stay, says Frontier Airlines CEO, Barry Biffle.
“We’ve always had heart,” Biffle said. “Some airlines are walking away from what travelers love, but we’re running towards it. Think of this as the ultimate ‘divorce your old airline’ deal. If travelers show us the love, we’ll make these perks permanent.”
