Giunta’s Meat Farms opens in Middle Island, replaces King Kullen

|

Giunta’s Meat Farms has officially opened in Middle Island, taking over the former King Kullen space that closed in April.

The 45,000-square-foot supermarket, located at 1235 Middle Country Road in the Strathmore Commons Shopping Center, marks the family-owned chain’s 10th and easternmost Long Island location.

“We’re excited to be a part of the Middle Island community,” wrote the Meat Farms team. “We look forward to knocking their socks off and giving them the best supermarket experience they can imagine.”

GLI’s Nick Esposito stopped by on opening day for a morning tour.

The other locations are in Farmingdale, Commack, Northport, Hauppauge, Port Jefferson Station, Bohemia, Ronkonkoma, Patchogue and Holbrook.
