The Premier Lacrosse League isn’t like traditional sports leagues in the U.S.
Instead of team’s being from regions, the entire league travels together to different cities to play its games, usually over two days. It’s a lacrosse festival feel, where fans get to watch pros and also shop merchandise, as well as enjoy fan experiences like the fastest shot challenge.
The league brought that experience to Hofstra University’s James M. Shuart Stadium this past Friday and Saturday. This was the second time the fledgling lacrosse league visited Long Island. The PLL made a stop at Hofstra last season too.
Greater Long Island was on the scene to capture moments from this year’s event. Scroll down to see photos.
