Here at Greater Long Island, we don’t run restaurants. But we do like to serve people, and do our part to help ensure a healthy economic future for our communities.
That’s why Greater Long Island is throwing its full weight behind September’s Founders Growth Summit as a media sponsor.
The Founders Growth Summit, the brainchild of restaurant growth strategist Kathleen Wood, bills itself as the “only event for visionary restaurant founders.”
“This is 72 hours to transform your business,” said Wood, the president of Kathleen Wood Partners and the driving force behind the rapid expansion of Tap Room, Toast Coffee + Kitchen and Bango Bowls, which are all producing jobs and opportunities here on Long Island.
It all happens Sept. 23 to Sept. 25.

“Be inspired to aspire higher — with world-class content from world-class speakers, founders, people who have been there, done that and could give you the best practices to accelerate your growth,” Wood said in a video pitch to attendees.
