Benedict Arnold at Toast
For a town named after one of the Founding Fathers, it’s apropo that Toast’s killer breakfast is named after the Revolutionary War turncoat, Benedict Arnold.
Also fittingly, the Culper Spy Ring — so entrenched in local history — had a part in uncovering Arnold’s betrayal.
Well, we are doing our part in uncovering the absolutely killer breakfast that is the Benedict Arnold at Toast.
Consisting of two organic poached eggs served on toasted English muffin with grilled ham, roasted red pepper, green onions and topped with creole style hollandaise sauce.
I regret that I have but one breakfast to give for my readers. Actually, that’s a lie. There’s another killer breakfast at Toast for those who want to spice it up a bit: The Huevos Migas Omelette. It’s chorizo sausage, tomato, green pepper, onion, and jalapeño havarti cheese.
