A major drug bust in Wantagh has led to the arrest of a 53-year-old man.
Nassau County police say Daniel Posner was taken into custody after investigators discovered large quantities of what is believed to be crystal meth inside his Darby Road home, along with Ecstasy, ketamine, Xanax and liquid Ecstasy.
Authorities also reported finding drug paraphernalia at the residence.
Police first responded to the home just before 10 a.m. Wednesday and remained on the scene for more than 10 hours. New York State Police and the Nassau County Fire Marshal also assisted in the investigation.
By Thursday morning, the home’s windows had been boarded up and a chain-link fence had been placed around the property.
Posner has been charged with 11 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
