A Huntington High School student was arrested Tuesday after allegedly posting a threat of mass harm on Snapchat.
Suffolk County Police responded to the high school, located at 188 Oakwood Road, at 11:30 a.m., after receiving a tip about the social media post. The female student, 18, was arrested on charges of making a threat of mass harm.
The student will receive an evaluation and is scheduled to be arraigned at a later date. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
