Huntington Station man claims $3 million top prize on scratch-off bought at 7-Eleven

A Huntington Station man is $3 million richer after scratching the winning ticket he purchased at a local 7-Eleven.

Cesar Martinez Alas claimed the top prize on the New York Lottery’s $3,000,000 Max Multiplier scratch-off game, lottery officials said Wednesday.

Martinez Alas opted to receive a one-time lump sum payment. After required withholdings, he took home $1,328,043.

He bought the winning ticket at the 7-Eleven located at 247 Broadway-Greenlawn Road in Huntington.

The jackpot isn’t the last one on the game. Two $3 million top prizes on the Max Multiplier ticket remained unclaimed as of the lottery’s announcement.
