Mac & cheese lovers get ready to rejoice.
New Village’s new restaurant I Heart Mac & Cheese announced that it will be swinging its doors open on Sunday, Jan. 13.
“We can’t wait to meet you all and serve your families our delicious Mac & Cheese,” the Florida-based company wrote on Facebook.
The restaurant, which will open at 3 Village Green Way, has Chipotle-ordering style for customers, where they get to go down the line creating their own favorite dishes.
There will be a variety to choose from, such as different kinds of pasta, cheeses, sauces, veggies, and proteins, says ownership.
“Nothing that we make is powdered or comes in a package,” said Frank Marino, a Brentwood native, who will be overseeing the Patchogue location along with colleague Diana Carbone. “And we have a whole list of protein options from pork to lobster to chicken.”
The opening marks the company’s second location on Long Island, the other being in Syosset.
Overall, I Heart Mac & Cheese has nearly a dozen locations in Florida, Oklahoma and New York, with contracts inked to open spots at universities across the country.
