The popular fast-fashion retailer Primark is now fully involved in New York City and Long island.
Founded in Ireland in 1969 under the Penneys brand, Primark’s latest opening happens at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove Nov. 9, according to Primark.
This comes in addition to last year’s opening at Roosevelt Field, followed by Jamaica, Queens, Kings Plaza in Brooklyn and Green Acres in Valley Stream. There’s also one on Staten Island.
Primark’s U.S. growth plan is to reach 60 stores by 2026. “Today we have 16 stores in the U.S. (and over 400 internationally) with plenty more in the pipeline,” an announcement reads. “Within our stores you will discover women’s, men’s and children’s fashions, as well as lingerie, beauty and homeware at the best prices in the mall.” Click here for a complete list of local stores.
