Just Salad continues its rapid expansion on Long Island, recently opening a brand-new location in Port Washington.
Located at 143 Shore Road, this latest store opened on Wednesday, Nov. 6. It marks the sixth Just Salad location on the Island, joining stores in Hauppauge, Oceanside, Westbury, Commack, and Huntington Station.
And there’s more on the way.
A spokesperson for Just Salad confirmed to GLI that additional locations are planned for the area, including:
- Plainview (373 S. Oyster Bay Road): Early 2025
- East Meadow (2411 C Hempstead Turnpike): Q2 of 2025
- Lake Grove (1995D Nesconset Highway): Q4 2025
Just Salad began its expansion onto Long Island in 2023, starting with the Commack location that January. Three months later, it opened its first Nassau County location in Westbury. Before Port Washington, the most recent opening was in Hauppauge this past summer.
“We’re excited to continue bringing our mission of everyday health and sustainability to more Long Island communities,” said a Just Salad spokesperson. “As a NY-founded brand, we’re proud to have expanded into this area and look forward to serving new customers across local neighborhoods.”
For those new to Just Salad, the menu includes 15 chef-designed salads, along with wraps, warm bowls, soups, smoothies, and a build-your-own salad option.
Founded in 2006 by longtime friends Nick Kenner and Rob Crespi, Just Salad has grown rapidly, now operating over 70 locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. The company has also expanded internationally, with locations in Dubai.
