Kevin Bacon and his brother are coming back to Patchogue

|

Come narrow that six-degrees-of-separation gap between you and Kevin Bacon.

And his brother.

The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts announced Monday the musical duo, The Bacon Brothers, featuring actor Kevin Bacon and his brother, Emmy Award-winning composer Michael Bacon, would be opening the downtown theater’s 2015-16 season on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 8 p.m.

The Bacon Brothers also paid a visit to Patchogue in May 2013.

The band, which has been performing for over 20 years, features Kevin Bacon on vocals, guitar and percussion; Michael Bacon on vocals, guitar and cello; Paul Guzzone on bass guitar and backing vocals; Joe Mennonna on keyboards and accordion; Frank Vilardi on drums; and Ira Siegel on lead guitar, mandolin and backing vocals, according to the theater.

The band’s latest album, “36 cents,” was released in September 2014. (See video below.)
