Letter to the Editor: Developers of Cornerstone Waterfront apartments on canceled meeting

|
Letter to the Editor by Matthew Ambrosio |

We regret to announce that the Cornerstone Waterfront at Patchogue community meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 7, at 6:30 p.m. at The Oar Restaurant, has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control.

Developer group Terwilliger & Bartone Properties originally invited select residents who took the time out of their busy schedules to express their opinions and ask questions at the recent public hearing concerning the proposal for a luxury rental community at Mulford Street and West Avenue in the Village of Patchogue. We appreciate this input and understand that with change can come anxiety.

Please know well that every concern voiced at the public hearing was noted, and our team is reviewing each one point by point. Because productive discussions can sometimes be challenging in the public hearing forum, we wanted to take the time to introduce ourselves and answer these questions in a casual, intimate setting.

Unfortunately, there was a scheduling conflict with the restaurant which prompted us to have to cancel tonight’s informational meeting. We will reschedule as soon as possible and notify the community at that time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused all those planning to attend, and we look forward to continuing the conversation about the Cornerstone Waterfront at Patchogue.

In an effort to keep the community informed, we will address resident questions and concerns now and again in the future. We invite you to visit our new website www.cornerstonepatchogue.com to learn more.
