William Floyd High School has a new assistant principal.
Lisa Paschitti has been named to replace Matthew Sanders, who is now the principal at William Floyd Middle School.
Paschitti now helps to oversee about 2,800 students in grades nine through 12.
Previously, Paschitti served as an assistant principal at Roosevelt High School and Roosevelt Centennial Elementary School. She also was a business teacher at Roosevelt High School and West Hempstead High School, as well as an instructional technology instructor at Jericho High School.
Paschitti has experience in the private sector, including stints providing on-site instructional and technical support for Right Reason Technologies and as an academic technology specialist for the Green Vale School, a private prekindergarten through ninth grade school in Nassau County. She is also bilingual.
Paschitti earned a bachelor’s in business computer information systems technology and her master’s in education with distinction from Hofstra University, as well as her master’s in school administration and supervision from Touro College. She also holds certification in school building leaderships and as a business/marketing teacher.
