Social media darling Haliey Welch — aka “Hawk Tuah Girl” — just spent the weekend partying on Long Island.
Welch led a Saturday night party at Bull Smith’s Tavern in Smithtown on July 13, and then a Sunday funday party at the Ugly Duckling in Long Beach. Keep scrolling for photos from her bash.
“We’re taking Sunday Funday to a whole new level!” read an Ugly Duckling post on Instagram, promoting the event. “Come down to The Ugly Duckling on Sunday, July 14th at 4 pm for a special event hosted by @hay_welch, well known as the Hawk Tua Girl!”
The 21-year-old Nashville woman has become exceedingly popular since sharing on video her thoughts on what guys desire most in the sack. “Hawk tuah” is an onomatopoeia for the sounds Welch made in her Southern drawl to simulate a sex act in an interview with Tim & Dee TV for their YouTube channel.
“You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang!” she said in a clip that has been viewed millions of times since it was posted late last month. Countless reaction videos and a massive merchandising push have firmly planted the phrase “Hawk Tuah” into the public consciousness. Watch the original video here:
