After some initial confusion with an opening date that was released to the public, the island’s first Buffalo Wild Wings GO takeout concept officially opened on March 1.
And the franchisee network behind the location, AJ New York Management, marked the day with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Shirley spot offers traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, burgers, sides, and all 26 Buffalo Wild Wings signature sauces and dry rubs.
“This opening marks an exciting milestone both for the Buffalo Wild Wings brand and our team …” said Megha Jain Narsimhamurthy, one of the franchisees for AJ New York Management LLC. “This restaurant is designed to cater to our guests on the go and allow them to enjoy their favorite menu offerings wherever that may be.
“Our network is a family-owned business on Long Island, so this is a really special moment for our team to serve the Shirley community.”
In Shirley, guests have the option for takeout, delivery and in-store seating at 999 Montauk Hwy Unit 25. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
The Buffalo Wild Wings GO concept first launched in 2020, a company representative said.
