Long Island’s lone Ground Round in Brookhaven temporarily closes

Long Island’s only Ground Round Grill and Bar will be shut down for the near future.

The American casual dining restaurant, located at 2647 Montauk Highway in Brookhaven, announced on Sunday via Facebook it will be temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In the post, a spokesperson for the company wrote that the location will reopen sometime in spring and hinted at renovation and new menu items.

“[We] look forward to welcoming back all of our loyal customers,” the post reads. “Stay tuned for our new and exciting menu as well as our new look.”
