Lucharitos opens first Nassau County location, in Mineola

|

Nassau County, the wait is over.

The fast-growing Lucharitos has just opened its westernmost location yet, launching in Mineola on the ground floor of the Morgan Parc residence community at 199 2nd St.

At 4,000 square feet, Lucharitos Mineola is the largest location in the company’s portfolio. The restaurant welcomed guests for a soft opening on Monday.

Owner Marc LaMaina previously told Greater Long Island that the space features “a one-of-a-kind dining room and lounge” ideal for after-work drinks, watching sports, and celebrations.

This opening comes just two months after the company debuted a location in Ronkonkoma at the new Station Yards complex, across from the LIRR station.

LaMaina launched the first Lucharitos in Greenport in 2012. Since then, the chain has expanded to Center Moriches, Aquebogue, Riverhead, Mattituck, and Melville. With the two recent openings, Lucharitos now boasts seven locations.

“Creating that vibe has been the cornerstone of the Lucharitos brand since day one,” said LaMaina. “The combination of tacos, margaritas, nostalgic pro wrestling, and a big hit of genuine hospitality really caught on.”
