The transformation from Brightwater’s historic Jon Thomas Inne to LuLu’s Lobster Inne is nearly complete.
The owners of Lulu’s Lobster Inne — who have a sister location in Patchogue called LuLu Lobster and Wing Shack — shared on Facebook they are aiming for a launch at 91 Howell’s Road sometime this month.
There is no exact opening date yet, the post reads, but a complete menu will be revealed soon.
As previously reported, the restaurant is run by Kerilee Hurley, who has spent the last few months renovating the old inne, which had been vacant for over a year.
“We’re going to have more options than just lobsters. We do steaks, wings, but it’s going to be a little bit more higher-end,” Hurley previously told GreaterBayShore in September. “We are going to still keep it ‘Inne-y,’ like the Jon Thomas Inne — we don’t want to change it too much because there’s so much history to it, we’re just going put a little LuLu’s spin on it.”
To find out what that LuLu spin will be, make sure to check back in GreaterBayShore for the details.
