Man swiped $200 from church donation box, cops say

Suffolk police say this man stole $200 from the donsation box at at about 1:45 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Center Moriches.

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help to identify and find the man they say stole about $200 from the donation box at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church last month.

Police say the incident occurred on June 9 at about 1:45 p.m. The church is located at 25 Ocean Ave.
