The annual “March of the Goblins” trick-or-treat event along Main Street in Center Moriches has been rescheduled from tomorrow — Halloween — to Friday due to forecasted rain.
The Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches, which sponsors the event, made the decision last night.
According to the National Weather Service, there is 70 percent chance of rain tomorrow, with precipitation amounts between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch possible.
March of the Goblins provides a safe environment for children to get candy along Main Street, and businesses encouraged to participate.
The event will run from 4:30-6 p.m.
