T-minus 127 days until summer fun in Patchogue.
The countdown has begun for the first Alive After Five street festival of the season, kicking off on Thursday, June 26. The Patchogue Village Board of Trustees recently approved the official 2025 summer dates — all on Thursdays: June 26, July 10, July 31, and Aug. 14. A rain date is set for Aug. 21, if needed.
This year, the festival will run from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., extending 30 minutes beyond its usual end time.
Each year, Alive After Five attracts about 20,000 attendees to Patchogue. The festival spans Main Street (from West Avenue to Maple Avenue) and North Ocean Avenue (from Oak Street to Church Street). Roads will close at 3:30 p.m.and reopen at 10:30 p.m., according to the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the event.
For those who haven’t attended before, the festival features live music, street vendors, and community activities. A full guide will be available on greaterlongisland.com as opening day approaches.
