Meat Farms opens its new Patchogue location

Giunta’s Meat Farms of Medford is now operating in its new, more expansive location in Patchogue.

The grocery store moved from Route 112 to the former Pathmark store at 399 Medford Avenue in Patchogue. The space is 65,000 square feet, about four times larger than its old building.

The supermarket opened officially in Patchogue on Thursday, April 23, an employee confirmed to GreaterPatchogue.

The store is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., with special seniors only hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

About Giunta’s Meat Farms

Long Islanders and business partners Peter Levantino and Philip Giunta launched Giunta’s Meat Farms together in 1992 after years of working together in the industry, according to Meat Farms’ website.

Over 35 years, the two went on to an open produce warehouse and nine Meat Farms location in Commack, Patchogue, Port Jefferson Station, Lake Ronkonkoma, Hauppauge, Farmingdale, Bohemia, Holbrook and Northport.
