Michael White, publisher

Mike founded what would become Greater Long Island Media Group, Inc., as greaterpatchogue.com in 2015. He has 25-plus years experience at newspapers large and small, including the New York Post and Daily News. He is responsible for the overall vision, direction and growth of the company.


Nick Esposito, editorial director

Nick is an award-winning journalist with a degree in journalism from St. Joseph’s University. He serves as the editorial director for Greater Long Island, overseeing the company’s daily editorial process. He’s helped the “Greater” brand reach attract over 50 million visitors since joining the team in 2016.


Brian Harmon, executive editor

Brian is a former New York Daily News assistant metro editor and New York State Press Association Writer of the Year (2009). His work has been featured on CBS’s 60 Minutes, and he’s twice been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. A Buffalo State College graduate, he is responsible for editing, copy flow and quality control within the newsroom.


Andrew Theodorakis, multimedia editor

Andrew is a Pulitzer Prize-nominated photographer and videographer for the New York Daily News, Newsday and Getty Images. He oversees photography and video for Greater Long Island. Andrew also owns Yellow House Images production company.


Satin Widrow, multimedia

Satin is a former MSG floor producer and ESPN content associate with a journalism degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y. She contributes writing, photography, edits photos and shoots and edits video for use in local coverage.


Matt O’Leary, multimedia

The producer and “voice” of GLI’s social media videos, Matt is a Five Towns College grad with a mass communication degree. He is a content creator covering the Jets on his popular YouTube channel and has spent a decade covering New York sports for numerous digital platforms such as Eyes on Isles, Elite Sports NY and OddsChecker.


Jose Martinez, senior reporter

Jose is a veteran reporter who has worked in print, on television and online over a career that has spanned four decades. He has worked for the New York Daily News, the New York Post and NY1. He also presently covers transportation for THE CITY.NYC.


Jamie Stuart, sports contributor

Jamie is an Emmy Award-winning sports journalist and graduate of the prestigious S.I. Newhouse school at Syracuse University. He spent 20 years at News 12 Long Island, where he started as a producer, then a sports reporter and sports anchor. His favorite teams are the Jets, Yankees, Knicks and Islanders.


Peter Schwartz, sports contributor

Peter is a sports anchor for WFAN, a play-by-play broadcaster for LIU and high school games, and covers Long Island sports stories for GLI. An East Meadow High School graduate, Peter majored in broadcasting at Buffalo State College and has spent over three decades in New York sports media.


Andrew Rappaport, senior reporter

Andrew is an award-winning producer, writer and reporter who worked at News 12 Long Island for 25 years, covering sports and news. He is passionate about the Buffalo Bills, the Yankees, WWE and L.I. high school sports. A Half Hollow Hills West graduate, Andrew majored in communications at SUNY Buffalo.


Julianne Mosher, reporter

Julianne is a freelance writer based in Port Jefferson covering everything under the sun from Manhattan to Montauk. When she’s not writing, she’s an adjunct professor teaching journalism and communications students at her two alma maters: Suffolk Community College and Stony Brook University, 


Ben Fiebert, reporter

Ben is a writer and reporter based on Nassau’s North Shore and a graduate of the Stony Brook University School of Communication and Journalism. He has spent five years covering local news, with a focus on elections, environmental issues, school board developments, new businesses and more.
