Michael White, publisher

Mike founded what would become Greater Long Island Media Group, Inc., as greaterpatchogue.com in 2015. He has 20-plus years experience at newspapers large and small, including the New York Post and Daily News. He is responsible for the overall vision, direction and growth of the company.


Nicholas Esposito, editorial director

Nick graduated with a journalism degree from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, N.Y. He started as a freelance reporter for GLI in 2016 while simultaneously working at News 12 and CBS Sports, and is now the company’s longest-tenured employee. He is responsible for managing a team of reporters and photographers and editing daily content.


Brian Harmon, executive editor

Brian is a former New York Daily News assistant metro editor and New York State Press Association Writer of the Year (2009). His work has been featured on CBS’s 60 Minutes, and he’s twice been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. He is responsible for editing, copy flow and quality control within the newsroom.


Andrew Theodorakis, multimedia editor

Andrew is a Pulitzer Prize-nominated photographer and videographer for the New York Daily News, Newsday and Getty Images. He oversees photography and video for Greater Long Island. Andrew also owns Yellow House Images production company.


Satin Widrow, photographer

Satin is a former MSG floor producer and ESPN content associate with a journalism degree from Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y. She contributes photography, edits photos and shoots and edits video for use in local coverage. She also owns three small businesses on Long Island.


Ana Borruto, reporter

Ana is a graduate of the Ithaca College Roy H. Park School of Communications and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is a general assignment reporter tasked with always finding the next local scoop. That mainly includes new restaurants, businesses, events, community initiatives and fundraisers. 


Nicholas Grasso, reporter

Nicholas is a graduate of the Stony Brook University School of Journalism. He is a general assigment reporter whose coverage runs the gamut, from music, arts and entertainment, to residential and commercial development, new businesses and local legislation.

Nick is a pediatric physical therapist for children with special needs, as well as the director of advertising, sales and promotions for Greater Long Island Media Group, Inc. Nick leverages our local audiences to help businesses and organizations, including nonprofits, thrive — no matter their budgets.
