Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since she was last seen Tuesday afternoon in West Hempstead.
Detectives said Litzy Escobar Martinez vanished about 1:30 p.m., and was officially reported missing about 20 minutes later.
The teen is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Cops said she was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and red pants. Her destination is unknown.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to call the Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad at 516.573.7347 or dial 911. Police said all callers will remain anonymous.
