Nassau Community College alum Jordan Jones signs with LA Rams following 2023 NFL Draft

|

Former Nassau Community College student Jordan Jones has been signed as an undrafted free agent by the Los Angeles Rams after the 2023 NFL Draft concluded on Saturday, according to multiple reports.

The Brooklyn native spent his last three seasons playing for the University of Rhode Island, and now joins the Rams’ team.

During his time at Rhode Island, Jones played in 22 games, where he achieved 77 total tackles, eight interceptions, and 30 pass deflections. He also scored two defensive touchdowns, including a 42-yard interception return for a score against Stony Brook University this past season.

Prior to that, he started his football career at NCC, where he earned the title of JuCo All-American, with 11 interceptions in 22 games.

Jones is not the only NCC alum to make it to the NFL, as Pro Bowl corner Rasul Douglas, who recently re-signed with the Green Bay Packers for a three-year contract worth $21 million, and veteran tight end Ian Thomas, who plays for the Panthers, are also NCC graduates.
