IHOP has officially opened its doors in Patchogue’s Gateway Plaza.
Nestled between Best Buy and Work ‘N Gear, the pancake haven began serving customers on Tuesday, Nov. 26, just ahead of Thanksgiving.
The eatery was open until 4 p.m. on Turkey Day and operated under regular hours on Black Friday.
The new 6,800-square-foot location, which accommodates 240 diners, is the latest addition to the breakfast chain’s Long Island presence.
The restaurant, renowned for its all-day breakfast menu, is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. until midnight.
Suffolk expansion
IHOP’s growing portfolio in Suffolk County includes nearby locations in Medford and Port Jefferson Station.
Brookhaven Town Board approved the new IHOP in April, granting a special permit for the location in Gateway Plaza. At the time, IHOP representatives anticipated the restaurant would open by the end of the year.
The other IHOP locations in Suffolk include Bay Shore, Hauppauge and Riverhead.
