Police are asking the public to help them weed out the man who plastered cannabis dispensary stickers throughout the Station Yards development in Ronkonkoma.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are looking to identify and locate the individual, who they said tampered with property in the area this week.
The man, whose image was captured by surveillance video and released by police, affixed more than a dozen “Planet Nugg Dispensary” stickers on buildings and other surfaces across Station Yards between 4 and 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Station Yards, located adjacent to Ronkonkoma’s LIRR station, is a large-scale, mixed-use development designed to transform the area into a walkable, downtown-style hub. The project includes residential units, restaurants, retail space and offices.
Authorities asked that anyone with information about the placement of the dispensary business stickers to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, utilizing a mobile app that can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
