The Long Island Farm Brewery in Manorville is all decked out for its first Oktoberfest.
“Get your lederhosen ready,” the new brewery implores Instagrammers, heralding the Sept. 28 start of its Oktoberfest celebration.
The new brewery (open since early June) is awash in German heritage for the next month. Special for Oktoberfest, the brewery is releasing two new German-style beers — Märzen and its own Oktoberfest brand.
There will also be a limited release of LIFB Steins. Check out what they look like below.
“There will be food trucks here all week with German style specials on their menus,” the brewery said in an Instagram post. “Oktoberfest themed trivia on Wednesday. Stay tuned for more information on our Stein holding competition!”
The brewery is located at 663 Wading River Road in Manorville, adjacent to Waterdrinker Family Farm just south of the Long Island Expressway. Closed on Mondays, the brewery is open from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday, noon-9 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sunday.
